Lash lamination — who it suits and who it does not

How lamination differs from extensions, who gets the biggest effect, how long it lasts and how to care for it.

Lash lamination — who it suits and who it does not

Lamination works with your own lashes: it lifts them from the root, sets the curl and deepens the colour. Nothing is glued on.

Who gets the biggest effect

  • Straight lashes that point down and disappear from the front.
  • Unruly lashes growing in different directions.
  • Long natural lashes that do nothing without a curl.
  • Anyone who wants an open gaze but finds extensions too much.

When the effect will be smaller

  • Very short lashes — lamination lifts, it does not lengthen.
  • Badly weakened lashes after poor extensions — those need recovering first.
  • If you want dramatic volume like extensions, that is a different service.

How it differs from extensions

  • Lamination — your own lashes, nothing added on top, no refill every 2–3 weeks.
  • Extensions — artificial lashes on adhesive, more volume, but regular refills and more upkeep.

How long it lasts

6–8 weeks, until your natural lash cycle replaces them. Tinting is included, so mascara becomes optional. The appointment takes about an hour.

The first 24 hours

  • Keep the lashes dry.
  • No sauna, steam room, sunbed or pool.
  • No oils or rich creams around the eyes.
  • No mascara or eye makeup.

What to tell me beforehand

Let me know if you have reacted to cosmetic ingredients before, if you have had extensions recently, or if you have eye surgery coming up. If you have any health concerns, speak to your doctor first — I am not a medical professional and cannot give a medical opinion.
